Kancelarija za saradnju sa civilnim društvom Vlade Republike Srbije je za predstavnike organizacija civilnog društva koje se bave temama iz oblasti pregovaračkog poglavlja 10 organizovala skup „Uvod u proces pregovora o pristupanju Evropskoj uniji i uloga civilnog društva – pregovaračko poglavlje 10 (informaciono društvo i mediji)“, koji se održao u sredu 5. februara 2014. godine u Palati „Srbija“.
Učesnicima skupa obratili su se visoki predstavnici Ministarstva unutrašnje i spoljne trgovine i telekomunikacija, koje je nadležno za ovo poglavlje, kao i Ministarstva kulture i informisanja.
Gosti održanog skupa bili su gospoda Jadran Antolović, profesor i bivši glavni hrvatski pregovarač za deo poglavlja 10 koji se tiče medija i Krešo Antonović, načelnik sektora elektroničkih komunikacija i pošte, Ministarstvo pomorstva, prometa i infrastrukture Republike Hrvatske i bivši glavni pregovarač za deo poglavlja 10 koji se tiče telekomunikacija. Oni su učesnicima preneli hrvatsko iskustvo iz procesa pregovora, sa naglaskom na monitoring ovog procesa.
Predstavnici organizacija civilnog društva imali su priliku da na skupu izlože svoje viđenje mogućih modela učešća OCD-a u procesu pregovora u okviru poglavlja 10, te su se učesnicima skupa obratili i Vukašin Obradović, predsednik Nezavisnog novinarskog udruženja Srbije i Vladimir Radunović iz Diplo fondacije.
