Registar nacionalnog internet domena Srbije (RNIDS), je 10. aprila, u saradnji sa Centrom za promociju nauke, organizovao panel diskusiju na temu "Gospodari Interneta – promena u upravljanju". Povod za ovaj događaj bila je odluka Ministarstva trgovine SAD iz marta ove godine da započne ključnu fazu globalizacije u upravljanju Internetom, u kojoj on prestaje da bude pod kontrolom SAD. Tim povodom ICANN (Internet korporacija za dodeljene nazive i brojeve) je pokrenuo globalni proces konsultacija o tome kako novi „multiakterski“ sistem upravljanja Internetom, koji podrazumeva učešće velikog broja zainteresovanih strana, treba da izgleda. Cilj današnje panel diskusije je bio da podstakne domaću internet zajednicu da se i ona uključi u ovaj globalni konsultativni proces.

 

Imajući u vidu globalnu prirodu Interneta i veliku zainteresovanost moćnih država i industrijskih igrača za ovu temu, ishod ovog procesa vrlo je neizvestan, pa se može reći da je pred nama vrlo zanimljiv period kada je upravljanje Internetom u pitanju. Ovaj događaj ima poseban značaj u svetlu krize poverenja u upravljanje Internetom i vodeću ulogu SAD, nakon izbijanja afere Snouden i razotkrivanja američkih programa globalnog nadgledanja.

Moderator današnje panel diskusije je bio Slobodan Marković, savetnik za IKT politike i odnose sa internet zajednicom u RNIDS-u a u diskusiji su učestvovali Danko Jevtović, direktor RNIDS-a, Milan Janković, direktor Republičke agencije za elektronske komunikacije (RATEL), Vladimir Radunović, koordinator edukativnih i trening programa e-Diplomatije u "Diplo fondaciji" i Marko Đorđević, programer i aktivista srpskog ogranka organizacije Internet Society (ISOC).

Na diskusiji je zaključeno da će ove promene osetiti svako od nas i da domaća javnost ima interesa i resursa da se aktivno uključi u globalne procese upravljanja Internetom. Srbija ima predstavnike u organizacijama kao što su ICANN, Savet Evrope, Međunarodna unija za telekomunikacije (ITU), Internet društvo (ISOC) i Forum o upravljanju Internetom (IGF) i može aktivno da doprinese procesu konsultacija o tome kako će novi sistem upravljanja Internetom izgledati u budućnosti.

RNIDS je aktivno uključen u rad ICANN-a i u okviru svojih aktivnosti će nastaviti da obaveštava i motiviše domaću internet zajednicu da se aktivno uključi u globalne procese.

    By the way, I was facing a huge problem: the Subtitles in.srt format and with this format they were not working with only the Farseer engine! With tff files they worked fine.
